More than one sushi and raw fish decorative boats are awesome, although a good bit of money is highly recommended for an occasion or party. I wasn't impressed with the Ramen as some were. Sushi selection is huge and varied. Attentive wait staff. Clean and decent relaxed atmosphere.
We came for my mom’s birthday. It was overall a great experience. The food was tasty, food came out timely, and service was attentive but not overwhelming. The tea wasn’t great, but that was our only complaint out of everything. They even brought out my mom a fried ice cream dessert with a candle for her birthday. I would go back!
This restaurant is really well designed and decorated. Our server was fantastic!
We had some ramen (I had pork katsu ramen with tonku broth and my wife has charsiu ramen with tonku broth). The bowls were beautifully presented but the broth was flat and uninspired.
Always a busy place but we always get our food quick. This is our go-to place for sushi and ramen in Des Moines.
Loved the sushi here. Last time we went I had the mountain roll and ginger salad. Always good. I would love to try the ramen too. I also love the little fish tanks around and I think it’s kind of morbid in a fun way; these little fish get to watch their distant cousins get chopped up and eaten. 😂😂😅
Absolutely love this place. One of my favorite places to eat out in Des Moines (West Des Moines to be more exact). Their signature ramen is always great, flavorful and plentiful. The sushi is excellent, no matter what we’ve tried. LOL, and my wife loves the fruity drinks too.
This was a very good place to go for reasonably priced sushi and friendly staff. Our waitress was accommodating and friendly, our food came fairly quickly and was high quality and fresh. The presentation was beautiful. They have a very large menu. Loved the eel and Godzilla rolls especially, nothing was below delicious.
My first visit to this restaurant. The seaweed salad was excellent as were the veggie Maki combination. I got. I plan to go back again and try some of the other menu items. The restaurant appears to be busy. I was there when it opened at 12:00 and within a half an hour. The place was bustling on a Sunday
